Freddy, Guy and John are in their final year at school. They take a boat trip on the River Thames. The journey is filled with amusing incidents as the boys try to impress three attractive girls in another boat. Most people on the river are friendly, except for a man they call "Grim Jim". John discovers Grim Jim's plans to commit a burglary, but can the boys stop him?
